Play with fire, and you will get burnt

In the last half of act 2, scene 2, Beatrice flirts with De Flores and basically excites him to the point where he is willing to kill for her. Of course, her intention is to get De Flores to kill Alonzo (II.ii.112-115) so that she will be free to initiate a relationship with Alsemero, and then give De Flores enough money to disappear him to another country (II.ii.146). She seems to think that giving De Flores money will be enough, but obviously De Flores is thinking of payment more along the lines of sex and devotion towards him, which Beatrice is definitely not up for. De Flores has proven to be a not-so-good individual as he is willing to kill without giving it a second thought. Granted, it's for his "love interest" but this just shows that he is likely to do something equally as awful to get what he wants. I really think that this was an incredibly stupid move on Beatrice's part and unknowingly, she has now submitted herself to De Flores's will. I still have a very strong feeling that this will eventually lead to rape.
